According to Abigail Turin, the distinctive monochrome scheme in her home wasn’t fashioned around plain black and white. Her bedroom, kitchen and dining room are as luminous and minimalist as the living room is jet-black and decadent. “It’s Modern in style, which for me equates with light,” says the partner at San Francisco and London-based architects KallosTurin. “And to contrast the brightness, I turned the focus in the lounge on dark and mysterious.”
